the ship sailed into my stomach

i have some news…

last night at 9:54pm i was driving through the hardees’ drive-thru to get my ladyfriend and i a strawberry and chocolate milkshake, respectively. disclaimer: i normally wouldn’t eat food from hardees, but they have fantastic milkshakes. undigress: i pull up to the window to pick up said drinks. the lady gives me the shakes and then also hands me a bag of food. she then said: “i gave you a few apple pies and a large fry…it’s free”. food and free were combined in one sentence and thrown into a brown paper bag for me…it was utopia, i was elated. i was as excited as if i just got my face engraved into mt. rushmore. 10 things are true and this is one of them.
