if it's 2:42pm, then it's time for coffee

seriously, i wrote that title, got up and got coffee. now i am back. in the way of how time travels, that just happened. what are birds? i really have nothing else, i just wanted to write something today, work was kinda slow. although i was introduced to the “look around you” series by the BBC. which. is. hilarious. google it. watch it. cuddle with it. seriously. tonight or tomorrow is costco night. which is exciting for more than one reason. the first being that we replenish our ever dwindling supply of toilet paper (the loss of which, co-incidentally, is a deep fear of mine). really, i’ve come to the realization that toilet paper is really just a protective wrap around cohen and dutch’s favorite toy: cardboard cylinders. secondly, we have dinner at costco. we are fancy. we get hotdogs and sodas for $1.50 times two. $3.00 plus tax and the family is fed. that is the awesome. once cohen is old enough to assault his colon with meat-by-product we will then spend $4.50 plus tax to feed the family. but that is a sacrifice i am willing to undertake. actually, i think tonight is a movie night. tomorrow is costco. and friday i have cohen duty as mandy goes out and goes to some church event with girlies. cohen duty means that i put him to bed and then do as i please until the little lady returns. typically that is one of the following: read, write, watch tv, and/or play video games. and sometimes, if i am so lucky, a friend comes over to join me for the last two… typically the last one. but i dunno if i will be so blessed this friday. we shall see. my friends keep moving away. in other news, i think i have a good idea for a sci-fi novel. just need to flesh out characters and details. but i got an overarching plot and some back story. cause the front story is something completely different. the wife is on a reading kick, which i applaud. i went running today. felt great. dutch got covered in mud and fallen rain water. so i guess i did too, but didn’t realize it. clearly, i’ve run out of things to say. et cetera.
