i should be showering

guten morgan taagenstine-enberg. i should be getting ready for work… yes on martin luther king jr day, apparently my company doesn’t believe in his existence. but they do give us a few floating holidays, so i guess the blame then re-falls on me since i am not using one of my floating holidays today. the circle is complete. the wife and i are taking a biblical parenting class. and we are very excited about it. the foundation of good parenting is a good marriage and the foundation of a good marriage is comprised of individual relationships with Christ. the goal is not to have well behaved children, the goal is to have children who love Christ. it’s good to be reminded of such things, and then to pour over examples and details so to better equip ourselves to love and cherish and nurture and rear our kiddos. in other news, i got rock band 2. mandy loves it. she plays the drums. i play lead guitar. we have a band, “the roys”. we are rocking the faces off amsterdam so hard, they can’t feel their eardrums anymore. avery pooped a few days ago while mandy was holding her, and it sounded like 4th of july fireworks. she is the envy of us all. et cetera.
