gaylord, yes.
so, i stayed at the gaylord palms in orlando for a conference. it had a 4.5 acre atrium inside the building, and the exterior walls of the atrium were the hotel towers. so it actually felt like your hotel tower was a completely separate building and such. i was sitting “outside” in the atrium at the coffee shop, and overheard the following conversation:
little girl: “wow, mommy it’s so nice today, not like our first day here. it was so hot and muggy.”
mom: “that’s cause we are inside.”
girl: “oh,” looks up at glass ceiling. “we’ve been inside for 2 days?”
mom: “yes”
i stifled a laugh by biting my fist.
i was so hoping to hear someone say something along the lines of looking forward to “getting some fresh air” as they rode down the elevator. but no avail.
et cetera.
